Memorial Day Weekend Weddings
Memorial Day weekend is always busy at Migis Lodge! This weekend we are hosting two weddings. The first wedding is for a longtime guest....she has been dreaming about getting married at Migis Lodge since her family began vacationing here many years ago. Actually - her older brother got married here a couple of years ago. Their guests are arriving from all over the country to celebrate. We had hoped for better weather, but it doesn't look good - for the 5th consecutive weekend in Maine. Fortunately - our guests will be warm and cozy in their lakeside cottages all with fireplaces.

My wife, Arlene and I , were pleased to host our daughter's "destination wedding" at Migis 0n Sturday, 10/22/2005. Tracy (originally from NJ) and her new husband Nick (originally from Annapolis,MD with Mom and relatives from Korea and MD.) joined approximately 100 of our/their relatives and friends for this occasion. Our guests traveled from Korea, California,Chicago, Florida,Conn.,NY and NJ to attend. All, yes all of those in attendance marveled at the facility and the staff's attention to detail. We've have a summer home approximately 15 minutes from Migis for the past 25 years. We dicovered Migis in Bon Appetite magazine. It is truly one of God's hidden treasures. My thanks to Tim Porta, Robin, Phil, Chris and the entire staff.
